Have you ever watched any of the house flipping shows on TV where celebrities show you how easy it is to find a great deal, rehab it, and then flip it for big money? Have you ever actually tried doing that? Well, it’s not quite as easy to make money this way as they make it look. What the TV shows don’t tell you is that, while you can make big money by rehabbing houses, you can also lose big money by rehabbing houses if you don’t have a good working knowledge of the process and proper materials used.
Our next meeting on September 14 (Thursday) features two local experts talking about how things really work and how to make money by rehabbing houses. We’re very fortunate to have local contractor and home inspector, Wayde “Eddie” Sabina, and manager of our local Home Depot, Heather Sloop, talk to us about the very things that can make, or break, us as real estate investors.
Eddie has been a professional contractor for over 20 years and he’s worked on them all from houses that only need cosmetic touch ups to completely gutted remodeling projects. He’s not only one of the most reliable contractors here in the South Carolina Midlands, but he’s also one of the most honest. From personal experience working with Eddie, you don’t have to worry about your rehabs with him since he has the expertise and works only with the best subcontractors in the business.
Heather is the manager at our local Home Depot just off of Harbison Boulevard at 5200 Fernandina Road in Columbia. She knows what materials should be used, how much they cost, and how to get the best value for your money spent on them. As the manager, Heather is where the buck stops when you have any questions about Home Depot products and services. She is a very valuable contact to know.
This is a meeting you won’t want to miss if you plan on doing any kind of repairs on houses and other buildings. Even just one tip you learn here can make you tens of thousands of dollars instead of you losing money by not knowing what’s available and how the rehab process works.
Don’t miss this meeting! You can use the techniques taught right here to start making money! Admission is free for 1st-time attendees. Otherwise, it is $25 admission for this training at the door, or you can become an annual member to attend all monthly training for free and get access to ALL the benefits!
