DESCRIPTION:One of the most sought-after contractors and home inspectors in the Midlands\, Wayde “Eddie” Sabina\, will hold a round table to field questions from those interested in rehabbing and flipping houses for the most possible profit. \nWe see expensive mistakes repeated by even experienced house rehabbers that could have been avoided by a little planning before starting the rehab process. The most recent house we inspected was by two rehabbers who are fixing up a house in Irmo that’s on the Lake Murray waterfront. The rehabbers purchased the property for $925\,000 back in August 2023. Just the way it was deeded tells us they probably don’t have much experience as real estate investors as the property was deeded into their personal names\, not into a trust or LLC. Other mistakes include doing finish work\, laying tile and installing new drywall that will just have to be torn out\, before properly framing the house.
