On-site workshop of the latest rehab project by Realtor/investor, Blaire Kobliski, before any rehab work has been done. This workshop will be taught by Blaire and contractor, Wayde “Eddie” Sabina. Attendees will be allowed to record this workshop and will receive workbooks for on-site activities. This is the first of three workshops planned at this house.

This workshop is limited to 12 attendees. It is free for Midlands REIA annual members and $40 per person for non-members. Admission fee includes workbook and all three workshops. MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED BECAUSE OF COVID-19! THE CITY OF COLUMBIA HAS A MASK ORDINANCE IN EFFECT!

There will be a pre-meeting session on obtaining affordable legal assistance, especially regarding COVID-19, with LegalShield until 7:30 pm.

This online meeting will feature a seasoned licensed residential builder, Wayde “Eddie” Sabina, and a Realtor/investor, Blaire Kobliski, who will tell us what they know about maximizing values and profits on house rehabs they work on and resell. They’ll tell us how to properly screen out the bad workers who masquerade as contractors but aren’t really qualified and how to get the best efforts from the legitimate contractors. They’ll tell us what to look for and what pitfalls to avoid when rehabbing houses.

Eddie has been a licensed residential builder since 1998 and is also a license home inspector. Blaire rehabs houses only part-time and so far averages $30K profit per rehab flip. Rehabbing houses isn’t anywhere as easy as it looks on the HGTV house flipping shows so Eddie and Blaire will tell us what it’s REALLY like to rehab houses from a contractor’s viewpoint and from a Realtor’s/investor’s viewpoint.
