CANCELLED 1 Million Cups – Columbia Entrepreneurs Meeting

THIS WEEK IS CANCELLED. WE’LL RESUME REGULAR MEETINGS NEXT WEDNESDAY (JULY 10).

Weekly mastermind of local business owners and entrepreneurs for education and networking. This is a mastermind with business owners in many different fields from the technology fields to the health and wellness specialties. The basic format involves business owners presenting what they do then drawing upon the collective knowledge and experience of the other entrepreneurs in attendance to help advance their own businesses.

Periodically, successful entrepreneurs, who’s businesses exceed $1 million in total revenue, will present and tell us how they achieved their successes during a “Made It” session. One I remember was a co-founder of MapQuest who ended up selling MapQuest to AOL for $1.2 billion.

These weekly meetings include education sessions in which an experienced businessperson teaches attendees how to follow what they’re doing in their businesses for our own purposes. They educate us on their specific industries.

Coffee is provided in a casual environment. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards to pass out. You never know when and where your next big business deal will occur.
