Midlands REIA Monthly Meeting (ONLINE): Serving Multicultural Markets

There will be a pre-meeting session on obtaining affordable legal assistance with LegalShield until 7:30 pm.

Real estate investor, Carlos Barrera of Barrera Investments, and cross-cultural expert, Vanessa Mota of Mota Enterprises, will show us how we can expand our markets, not by increasing coverage area but by tapping into the different cultures and international communities that exist right now in our markets and that many of us overlook even though we probably know them as neighbors, friends, and co-workers. Carlos and Vanessa not only work with the Anglo-American and African-American communities, but also with Latino, Middle Eastern, Asian, and others. Carlos is particularly skilled at quickly finding cash buyers from the Latino and Asian communities to help us sell our houses and Vanessa can help us solidify the relationships we start with people from other cultures.

Rather than spend extra resources to increase our profits by expanding geographically, we can increase our profits just by taking some time and putting forth a little effort to better understand the people in the different communities and cultures where we live and work.
